Criterion-Related Validity of the WRAT-R and K-TEA with Teacher Estimates of Actual Classroom Academic Performance.
Webster, Raymond E.; And Others
Psychology in the Schools, v26 n3 p243-48 Jul 1989
Examined concurrent validity of Wide-Range Achievement Test-Revised and Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement with teacher estimates of classroom performance in reading and mathematics, comparing test performance of average third and fourth graders (N=134). Results suggest that adequate assessment of achievement requires selective use of subtests from various instruments, rather than reliance on a single test. (Author/CM)
