It appears that among the three dyadic relationships examined in this article (i.e. grooming mentoring, networking mentoring, and tutoring), grooming mentoring has considerable potential to embrace sexuality and sex in ways that have negative implications for opportunities and achievement, particularly for women. A research agenda is proposed. (IAH)
