Gender differences and differences associated with urban versus rural placement in the satisfaction of 204 final-year teacher education students with a national teaching practice orientation program in Nigeria were assessed. Data from 184 (sex variable) and 177 (placement variable) usable questionnaires indicate the importance of effective teacher orientation. (TJH)
