Examined is the problem of assigning faculty members to teach various courses in an accounting department. Based on selected evaluation information, a zero-one integer programing model was implemented. This approach utilizes readily available data and takes into consideration the learning curve phenomenon, various competing needs, and institutional constraints at very little cost.
