A Study of Student Attitude toward Traditional and Generative Models of Instruction.
Maroufi, Chogollah
Adolescence, v24 n93 p65-72 Spr 1989
Compared attitudes and cognitive dispositions of three eighth-grade classes toward two methods of instruction (traditional and generative). Students' attitude ratings revealed that traditional method was rated much higher than generative. Students appeared to prefer traditional method's structured, teacher-centered, highly controlled atmosphere. (Author/NB)
