A description is given of the Teaching Excellence Program, designed to explore the usefulness of action research (called practice-centered inquiry in this program). Seventeen higher education faculty participated in the program, whose major components were 15 biweekly workshops/seminars and individual projects designed and carried out by each faculty member.
