Rittenhouse, Robert K.; And Others
Journal of the American Deafness and Rehabilitation Association, v22 n3 p57-63 Jan 1989
When surveyed, 13 supervisors of educational programs for hearing-impaired students indicated that there is an unmet need for educational interpreters. A survey of 9 supervisors, 24 teachers, 27 interpreters, and 18 hearing-impaired college students found that significant differences existed between and within groups in the characteristics/skills perceived important to educational interpreting.
