Education and the Impact of the Family Reunion Program in a Maximum Security Prison.
Davis, Randolph
Journal of Offender Counseling, Services & Rehabilitation, v12 n2 p153-59 Spr-Sum 1988
Collected data from 346 inmates at the Eastern Correctional Facility in New York that supported the hypothesis that educational programs on the college level and above are more important than Family Reunion Programs in promoting behavior in prison. Data suggest that social control is only enhanced by Family Reunion Programs among participants who lack a college education. (Author/BH)
