The Concept of Death--"Masculine" and "Feminine" Attributes.
Weller, Aron; And Others
Omega: Journal of Death and Dying, v19 n3 p253-63 1988-89
Male and female Jewish Israeli college students (N=142) completed sex role inventory and were requested to attribute sex traits to their concept of death. Results indicated that death was perceived more in masculine than in feminine terms, especially among female respondents. No particular sex role type was especially attributed to death by entire sample or by each gender separately. (Author/NB)
