Investigated mentor-protege and peer-peer relationships during graduate school and postgraduate employment. Data from 64 family and child development doctoral students and graduates indicated that both mentor and peer relationships were related to career success and that influence of various psychosocial dimensions varied by both type of relationship and career stage.
