Convergent and Discriminant Validity of Self-Report Death Scales.
Durlak, Joseph A.; Kasimatis, Margaret R.
Omega: Journal of Death and Dying, v19 n2 p163-74 1988-89
Investigated convergent and discriminant validity of seven self-report death scales, each designed to measure one of three death-related attitudes (one's own death, reaction to reminders of death, reluctance to interact with dying). College students at two universities completed scales and were interviewed. Results indicated moderate support for convergent and discriminant validity of three scales. (Author/NB)
