Hypothesized that individuals who can make appropriate career choices for others can make appropriate career choices for themselves. Results from 365 ninth-graders who completed Goal Selection subtest of Career Maturity Inventory Competence Test and Differential Aptitude Test using the Career Planning Program showed no such relationship among Black students and a weak but significant relationship among Whites.
