Examination of the nature and amount of feedback high school varsity volleyball coaches gave to starting and nonstarting players revealed that successful coaches varied considerably from less successful coaches in the types of feedback they gave. Starting players received significantly more audio, audiovisual, and immediate terminal feedback than did nonstarting players. (Author/CB)
