Fifty, secondary school English, mathematics, history, and science teachers participated in a content-area reading inservice program which lasted for two academic years. The study was designed to determine how the program influenced teachers' attitudes and concerns about, and knowledge and use of content reading instructional strategies. Results are discussed. (JL)
