Marxism, Science, and the Relation of Means and Ends in Educational Theory.
Arnstine, Donald
Educational Theory, v38 n2 p249-54 Spr 1988

A steady focus on social and political ends tends to treat schools, children, and teachers as mere means to those ends. (JL)
