Can Physical Fitness Be a Primary Objective in a Balanced Program?
Koslow, Robert E.
Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, v59 n4 p75-77 Apr 1988
Many educators claim physical fitness as a primary objective of physical education. In analyzing the components of true physical fitness, however, the author concludes that this goal is beyond the scope of the average gym class. Rather, he suggests that educators reevaluate the objectives of their physical education programs. (JL)
