Strategies that allow female managers to have occupational success must be investigated. Career women in educational administration were tracked for ten years to ascertain their organizational situation, career path, attitudes, and goals. Although women have made minimal gains, they are optimistic and will continue to test traditional occupational boundaries. (VM)
