The study examined perceptions of special educators concerning the provision of occupational therapy as a related service in school systems. Faculty members revealed that they have limited understanding of the role of occupational therapy in schools. Results indicate that therapists should take the initiative to communicate occupational therapy's benefits to special educators. (CH)
