Used quasi-experimental design to examine impact of a variety of methods involving humanistic, didactic, and experiential modalities in training students (potential health professionals) in empathy-sensitivity and interpersonal skills. Eclectic, multimodal approach using audiovisual technology, role playing, observation, and discussion was found most effective in raising sensitivity levels. (Author/NB)
