The classroom behaviors of three teachers of moderately and severely mentally handicapped children were evaluated two weeks after they had received two hours of one-to-one inservice training on appropriate use of five instructional behaviors. Results indicated a functional relationship between inservice instruction and correct use of verbal instruction, modeling, physical prompts and consequation. (Author/DB)
