Students' Perceptions of Physical Education Objectives.

A survey of 2,559 students enrolled in a university physical education program were studied to determine which physical education objectives were considered most and least important and to assess differences based on gender and class. Self-worth, physiological parameters, social affiliation, and lifetime use were four factors most frequently behind participation motives. (Author/CB)
