Using Students' Perceptions of Their Instructor to Illustrate Principles of Person Perception.
Lashley, Robin L.
Teaching of Psychology, v14 n3 p179-80 Oct 1987
Describes a classroom exercise in which a simple personality inventory is used to assess students' perceptions of their instructor. The data generated are used to illustrate the basic cognitive processes by which individuals interpret the behavior of others, as well as numerous perceptual biases that often render such interpretations inaccurate.
