Religious Orientations and Women's Expected Continuity in the Labor Force.
Morgan, Mary Y.; Scanzoni, John
Journal of Marriage and the Family, v49 n2 p367-79 May 1987
Explored variations in religious orientations and their potential connections with expectations for paid work in the future among 318 female college seniors. Results revealed a connection between religious devoutness and expected paid labor force continuity among women. Regardless of denominational label, being more devout apparently tended to reduce respondents' expected continuity in the labor force. (Author/NB)
