Investigated crystallization of work values in adolescence through the normative approach which relies on conception of value enculturation. Results from 913 ninth- and twelfth-graders from Jewish, Arab, and Catholic monastic schools. Supported hypothesis that source of work values is the subculture of the social group of affiliation, which has socioeconomic and cultural characteristics. (Author/ABB)
