Analyzes social skills in four emotionally disturbed students (ages 12-14) enrolled in adolescent day treatment programs. Students displayed an increased ability to relax and to use appropriate interpersonal behaviors in simulated social interactions involving scenes not previously trained. Skills did not generalize to the classroom. Discusses training strategies to enhance generalization. (PS)
