Origins of Academic Freedom Litigation.
Holbrook, Sandra L.; Hearn, James C.
Review of Higher Education, v10 n1 p47-61 Fall 1986
A study of court cases suggests that academic freedom litigation is more likely to originate from public multiversities and comprehensives and among faculty in the humanities and social sciences. This implies that academic units with greater organizational ambiguity are most likely to generate litigation related to academic freedom. (Author/MLW)
