Native Indian Students and Their Learning Styles: Research Results and Classroom Applications.
Moore, Arthur J.
B. C. Journal of Special Education, v11 n1 p23-37 1987
The learning style of Native American Indian students is discussed in terms of internal cognitive processes (global/analytic, imagery/verbal, impulsive/reflective, trial-and-error/watch-then-do, field dependence/independence and concrete/abstract); external conditions; teaching and communication styles; and traditional learning styles. A four-step process to help teachers use these findings is proposed. (Author/DB)
