The study attempted to determine how closely the Future Farmers of America proficiency awards for outstanding supervised occupational experience programs (SOEPs) were associated with instruction in the local vocational agriculture program. Results indicate that vocational agriculture teachers and programs were not as influential as was assumed. (CH)
