A study of the impact of stereotypes of hearing-impaired individuals involved 104 normal-hearing and hearing-impaired teachers. Each evaluated a student's behavior based on written information regarding hearing and stereotypic/non-stereotypic behaviors. Results indicated no significant main effects but unexpected patterns were found affecting perceptions. (Author/KM)
