Contrasted three groups of parents on reported changes in parenting skills and child behavior following communications training. Found no significant differences among groups on reported improvement in parenting skills. Parents of adolescents reported fewer changes in child behavior than did paents of preschoolers or school-age children in such behaviors as cooperativeness, demandingness, and acceptance of rules.
