The Effect of Mode Discourse on Student Writing Performance: Implications for Policy.
Kegley, Pamela H.
Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, v8 n2 p147-54 Sum 1986

Results provide evidence that mode of discourse must be considered when judging the adequacy of student writing. (Author/LMO)
