Comparison of gifted (N=125) and non-gifted (N=102) 9- to 12-year-olds' self-concept ratings suggested that gifted girls have more positive self-concepts than nongifted girls. Mothers and teachers indicated fewer problems with gifted than non-gifted girls. No differences were found in these areas between gifted and non-gifted boys. (Author/CB)
