The Attitudes of Minority Inmates Towards Recreation Programs as a Rehabilitative Tool.
McIntosh, Mathew
Journal of Offender Counseling, Services & Rehabilitation, v10 n4 p79-86 Sum 1986
Determined the attitudes of three Oregon State Penetentiary minority inmate groups -- Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans -- towards the Recreation program as a rehabilitative tool. Used a survey questionnaire representing rehabilitation achievement in three areas (program management, facilty/equipment provision, and personal habits/participation). Significantly different attitudes were found among the groups on all measures. (Author/KS)
