Baker, Stanley B.; And Others
Journal of Counseling Psychology, v33 n4 p469-70 Oct 1986
Training programs that incorporated overt, covert, and combined over-covert practice modes were compared for their effects on developing counseling skills and confidence among undergraduate students. The combined practice group was superior to the control group on attending behaviors and empathy ratings. The overt practice group was superior to the control group on attending behavior. Confidence was unaffected. (Author/KS)
