The concepts of education for capability, education for enterprise, and entrepreneurship education are outlined in terms of curriculum development. The paper studies the conceptual problems involved and presents a synthesis in the form of suggestions for curriculum development in enterprise/entrepreneurship education across the spectrum of general education, prevocational education, vocational education and training, and adult retraining/continuing education.
