The Relationship between Delinquent Behavior and Work Values of Noninstitutionalized Youth.

A study was conducted to determine whether the work values of delinquent youth differ from those of other youth, and if so, how. Results showed that even as delinquency increases, work values tend to remain stable. Other factors (gender, race, and suspension from school) appear to have a greater impact on work values than does delinquency itself. (Author/CT)
