The Effects of Self-Recording for On-Task Behavior of Behaviorally Disordered Special Education Students.
McLaughlin, T. F.; And Others
Remedial and Special Education (RASE), v6 n4 p42-45 Jul-Aug 1985
Examines effectiveness of self-recordings as the only intervention component within the self-control paradigm for increasing on-task behavior of four behaviorally handicapped students (10-12 years old). Results indicated that more of the intervals were scored on-task when self-recording was in effect than during baseline. Follow-up data indicated that procedure could be withdrawn without decrement in performance for special education students. (Author/CL)
