Child, Adult-Interactional, and Socioeconomic Setting Events as Predictors of Parent Training Outcome.
Dumas, Jean E.
Education and Treatment of Children, v7 n4 p351-64 Fall 1984
Families (N=109) participated in a behavioral parent training program to modify aggressive and abusive family relationships. Successful and nonsuccessful outcome groups were then compared in child, adult-interactional, and socioeconomic characteristics. A discrimination analysis model correctly predicted a steady increase in the probability of treatment failure as socioeconomic, adult-interactional, and child adversity increased. (Author/CL)
