Cohesion in the Narratives of Normal and Language-Disordered Children.
Liles, Betty Z.
Journal of Speech and Hearing Research, v28 n1 p123-33 Mar 1985
The study involving 20 normal and 20 language disordered children (seven to 10 years old) indicated that both groups altered their use of cohesion as a function of the listener's needs in the same way. However, the groups differed in manner of cohesive organization, cohesive adequacy, and story comprehension. (CL)
