Teachers' Choice of Punishment as a Function of a Student's Gender, Age, Race, and IQ Level.
Wooldridge, Peter; Richman, Charles L.
Journal of School Psychology, v23 n1 p19-29 Spr 1985
Examined whether teachers treat students differently according to various charcteristics. Southern white female teachers recommended punishment for a hypothetical student in fighting, stealing, and cheating situations. Results revealed that teachers recommended more severe punishment for males than for females and for white males than for black males. (Author/NRB)
