The roles and responsiblilites of the classroom teacher in addressing the health needs of the chronically impaired student are explored in this article. The health curriculum can be used to complement the efforts of parents and health-care providers in informing, supplementing, and reinforcing disabled students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills.
