Teachers may encounter difficulties in helping the mainstreamed sensory-impaired child deal with psychosocial-sexual adjustment. With better understanding and early recognition of impediments these students experience teachers can modify teaching methods and provide assistance in the child's psychosocial-sexual adjustment.
