Factors Affecting Evaluation of Undergraduate Job Applicants: Urban Vs. Rural Human Service Delivery Systems.
Prerost, Frank J.; Reich, Michael J.
Teaching of Psychology, v11 n4 p218-20 Dec 1984
Human services employers of psychology majors were surveyed to determine what courses they prefer new employees to have taken. Rural agencies want students prepared in psychopathology, its assessment, and treatment; urban centers want students with a background in the basic psychology core courses, i.e., social psychology, developmental psychology, and personality studies.
