Personality, Motivation, and Performance: A Theory of the Relationship Between Individual Differences and Information Processing.
Humphreys, Michael S.; Revelle, William
Psychological Review, v91 n2 p153-84 Apr 1984

This general information-processing model also accounts for the systematic effects of motivational states on sustained information transfer and some aspects of short-term memory. (Author/BW)
