Teacher Preparation for Interaction with Culturally Different Students: A Case of Libyan Students in Saskatchewan.

Describes experience of six teachers working with Libyan teenagers in preuniversity program at University of Saskatchewan. The teachers previously particpated in preservice activities designed to increase understanding of Arab culture. The teachers concluded that while they were prepared cognitively for cultural differences, they still experienced problems. The preservice preparation was also useful for identifying topics of interest to students. (Author/CL)
