Compared attitudes toward drinking and adaptation to college by feminine, androgynous, and masculine sex-typed females. Study 1 showed that feminine sex-typed females reported fewer difficulties with peer pressures, while androgynous and masculine females showed high involvement in academic competition. Study 2 suggested masculine females showed potential for problem drinking. (JAC)
