The incidence of past and current physical abuse was documented among college students registering at a learning center in a midwestern university. Approximately one-third of the students had experienced moderate abuse and 5 to 10 percent, severe abuse. Findings indicate a need for therapeutic treatment at the postsecondary level. (Author/PP)
