Teachers with no experience, some experience, and specialists with hearing impaired students (10-14 years old) rated slides showing students with and without hearing aids in terms of appearance, personality, socioeconomic status, and assertiveness. When students wore hearing aids they were perceived differently than when they wore no aid. (Author/CL)
