Means, Ends, and the Principle of Normalization: A Closer Look.
Epstein, Howard R.
Education and Training of the Mentally Retarded, v17 n2 p153-56 Apr 1982
The author considers implications of normalization as means and ends for handicapped persons and cautions about the opposite extreme: an uncritical acceptance of technological solutions for the handicapped. He suggests that the ultimate goal should be the degree to which the procedures allow the individual to reach specific goals. (CL)
