An integrative curriculum provided gifted junior high students with subject matter studies via mini courses and long term projects designed to promote motivation and stimulate thought. Changes in classroom environment included replacement of desks by tables and chairs. The integrative model allowed for student freedom and preference in learning style. (CL)
